Growing St. Pete’s business base

The mission of the St. Pete EDC is to attract out-of-market companies to relocate to or expand in St. Pete, bringing new jobs, innovation, and investment to the people of St. Pete.

We are supported by more than 85 public and private organizations that believe in this purpose, investing in the future of our community through the St. Pete EDC to expand the business base, increase the number of well-paying jobs, and help grow the size and purchasing power of the local market.

And along the way they connect with other leaders committed to the community and with the new companies relocating and expanding here.

Thank you to our Investors

These companies, leaders in St. Pete and the Tampa Bay market, are dedicated to growing the community’s higher-paying jobs, championing innovation, and increasing the business base through investing in the St. Pete EDC.

ARK is not a traditional Wall Street asset management firm, and we are looking forward to breaking the mold further by relocating to St. Petersburg, a city investing in technology, science, and innovation.

Cathie Wood

CEO/CIO at ARK Invest

St. Pete is emerging from the shadow of its larger neighbor Tampa and becoming a destination in and of itself. The city shows very well for live/work/play dynamics with its walkable downtown and proximity to the beach.
