About St. Petersburg Catholic High School
St. Petersburg Catholic High School has proudly served students for nearly 70 years. It began in 1957 with the opening of Bishop Barry High School, an all-boys institution. Just five years later, Notre Dame Academy, an all-girls school, opened nearby on 9th Avenue N. In 1973, these two schools united to form what is now St. Petersburg Catholic High School.
Our mission is to educate students deeply rooted in the Catholic faith, empowering them to make a positive impact on the world through servant leadership. The educational experience is rooted in the Core Virtues of authenticity, compassion, fortitude, humility, and wisdom.
